A compassionate approach to meaningful change.
About Christine
Therapist.
Animal lover.
Career changer.
I’m an animal lover and career changer who grew up on a farm and have a great appreciation for the role of nature, animals, exercise, community and relationships in our health and wellbeing. I’m also neurodivergent. I became a therapist after 16 years of working in HR leadership roles in London & Zurich. My change of career was fueled by my frustrations with the lack of acknowledgement of the psychological impact of life's changes and challenges in the workplace and my own transformative experiences with personal therapy.
I'd like to think that these and other experiences make me a better therapist because I know what it's like to be in your shoes. I also know what it's like to do the work to unpack difficult experiences, make peace with them, understand how they've shaped and changed me and what they’ve taught me.

I am a neurodivergent-affirming therapist that has trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and work pluralistically. In practice, this means I work with each client in a tailored way, depending on their needs and preferences, using psychological theory from various approaches to support you. I might draw on humanistic approaches such as person-centred and existential therapy, third-wave approaches such as compassion-focused therapy (CFT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic approaches such as relational psychodynamics and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to guide our sessions. I also welcome approaches that consider, power, marginalisation and oppression and how this informs and impacts your experiences.

Each person's story is unique and it's vital your voice is central to your therapy journey. Psychotherapy or counselling is not a magic bullet, but you stand a better chance with the right therapist. We’ll work together to understand what’s troubling you and what you wish to achieve, developing a therapeutic relationship that suits you. What's important is that you feel welcomed and included in the therapy space, no matter your identity, circumstances or how you define yourself.

Having a good, healthy therapeutic relationship can transform your relationships with yourself, the world, and others and help you process your experiences to build a more hopeful and meaningful future. I know how difficult reaching out can be. I’m here to make that journey with you, offering a neutral space to help you navigate life's changes and challenges. I’ll be beside you each step of the way.
