What is online counselling? And does it work?
For the purposes of my practice, online counselling is a form of therapy that takes place exclusively online, via video calling services. Online therapy can help clients with the same types of issues that you might bring to face-to-face counselling. However, finding the right space to share your experiences is about finding an environment that feels comfortable for you

A shift to an online way of working has been one of the very few positives to come out of the pandemic. Covid-19 has been the catalyst that has propelled video-counselling into the mainstream.
Is online therapy right for me?
It's really important that you consider online counselling from a personal, practical and logistical perspective. It is not just about whether you believe online therapy will be the right fit for you but also, whether you have the setup to accommodate video counselling.
Preparing for the first counselling session
Although there is nothing explicit to prepare in advance of our first session, it can sometimes feel daunting.
