Winston’s Wish.

Winston’s Wish was the UK’s first childhood bereavement charity. They have been supporting bereaved children and young people since 1992 and continue to lead the way in providing specialist child bereavement support services across the UK. Winston’s Wish provides emotional and practical bereavement support to children, young people and those who care for them. Their expert teams offer one off and ongoing bereavement support and they also provide online resources.

Child Bereavement UK.

Child Bereavement UK helps children, parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. They support children and young people up to the age of 25 who are facing bereavement, and anyone impacted by the death of a child of any age.

Child Death Helpline.

A freephone service for all those affected by the death of a child. The Child Death Helpline is staffed by volunteers, all of them bereaved parents. All of their volunteers are trained, supervised and supported by professional teams within Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust and the Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. The helpline is a partnership between professionals and parents working together to provide a professional service to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age.

The Lullaby Trust.

The Lullaby Trust helps families who experience the sudden loss of a baby, providing emotional and practical support. We can also connect them with others who have experienced a similar bereavement through our Befriender scheme. We work to ensure that families are fully supported through this devastating experience.
