PDSA is the UK's leading vet charity, providing free and low-cost treatment to pets in need. It also provides advice on making the difficult decision to put your pet to sleep, breaking the news to children, and coping with the loss.

Cats Protection provide a confidential phone line called Paws to Listen, a service for any cat owner suffering grief or bereavement of a beloved pet.

'Friends at the End' is a BHS initiative designed to make sure that no horse owner has to face the loss of their equine companion alone. They offer free, confidential support to horse owners / carers / sharers / loaners before, during and after the death or loss of a horse.
